Swim and Tennis

Swim & Tennis

From the desk of the Swim and Tennis Committee Leadership:

Welcome to the Swim and Tennis Association for the 2021 season. Due to needing to limit the number of pool members per Covid guidelines this year the memberships will be limited to active HOA members. Congratulations Chris Tucker (Pool Committee Leader) on obtaining your Certified Pool Operators Certificate. Rest assured all chemical levels will be ideal and all safety rules and regulations will be strictly enforced.

There is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to people through the water in pools, hot tubs, spas, or water play areas. Proper operation and maintenance (including disinfection with chlorine and bromine) of these facilities should inactivate the virus in the water. More information can be found here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/php/water.html.

Please consider joining the Weatherstone Swim and Tennis community this 2021 season as it is a great option for cooling off with your family and friends on hot summer days!  It's also a great way to meet new neighbors and friends!

Pool Hours:
  Weekdays (Mon - Thurs)  10:00am - 9:00pm
  Weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun)  9:00am - 9:30pm

Swim and Tennis Membership Options

● Swim and Tennis Membership for current HOA members:  $400.00

● Residents who are unable to join Swim and Tennis are encouraged to make a monetary donation of $100 to help with the upkeep of the grounds.

We need the memberships ($400) and the resident subsidies ($100) to be paid by May 15th at the latest, in order to open the facility on May 29, 2021 (unless state/county recommendations change). This year’s goals include grounds maintenance and necessary fence/gate repairs.

All pool members and their guests agree to the following:

  • No more than TWENTY people in the pool area at a time.  Please limit guests to only those in your household during this time. This will be strictly enforced!
  • Swim at your own risk – no lifeguard on duty
  • DO NOT open gate for anyone – members MUST use their key
  • No running, horseplay or profanity!
  • The rope is required by the county – please do not climb, jump, or pull on it
  • No glass permitted (too many barefeet!)
  • ANYONE under the age of 18 MUST have adult supervision
  • Residents are allowed four (4) guests – more would require approval
  • It is your responsibility to clean the area you have been using when you leave
  • You may book a party at the pool but regular members are still allowed access to the pool
  • Failure to follow these and ANY other posted rules may result in loss of membership / forfeiture of remaining dues.

Did you know...

  • The entire pool committee is made up of volunteers
  • Only 20% of Weatherstone joins the pool - leaving little to no excess funds for landscaping/needed repairs
  • Volunteers are ALWAYS welcome - Please let us know if you would like to help out!
  • Community wide events are done on a volunteer basis and do not generate money for the pool (we break even).

What do your Dues pay for?

  • Pool maintenance and upkeep (chemicals, county inspections, repairs, supplies)
  • New locks and keys
  • Office fees (stamps, printing, signage)
  • Property taxes and insurance
  • Utilities (water, electricity, trash service)
  • Landscaping fees (pine straw, flowers, soil, pest control, weed killer, etc)
  • Security cameras
